Colleen E. Selby was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1991 and in Alberta in 1999. Upon gradating from the University of Victoria in 1989, Colleen enjoyed a Clerkship at the international law firm of Linklaters & Alliance, London, England.
Colleen is a civil and commercial litigation lawyer who has appeared before administrative tribunals, and the trial and appellate Courts in this Province. Her experience encompasses all aspects of a broad-based civil and commercial litigation practice. She practices in the areas of professional negligence; wills and estate litigation; corporate disputes concerning the interpretation of shareholder rights and directors and officers liability; insolvency and creditors remedies; real property disputes; and wrongful dismissal. large product liability actions and in environmental law actions involving the contamination of real property by petroleum products.
